We provide flexibility and options in pricing to fit the nature of the work and its value. Accordingly, we offer flat fees, value pricing, hourly pricing, and subscription plans.
Flat Fees
Some matters can be priced on a flat fee basis:
- Scope of the work is fairly easy to determine
- The work is more predictable
- Certain common documents
When a flat fee is appropriate, we will give you the flat fee in writing before we begin the matter.
Value Pricing
- Complex or high risk matters
- Sophisticated strategic issues
- High value work product and services
- Value pricing is commensurate with the value of the work product, where the work product is unique, original, or particularly complex.
Hourly
Certain matters are billed on an hourly basis:
- Scope of the work is uncertain
- Complex or high risk matters
- Sophisticated strategic issues
- Dispute resolution or litigation
- High value work product and services
When appropriate, we will give you a cap on an hourly matter.
Subscriptions
Start
$300 per month
- For startups and small companies
- Review one contract with comments and simple edits up to 10 pages
- Phone calls or video conferences up to 1 hour
- Emails and messaging app communications
- 10% discount on hourly and flat fees for services not included in this plan
- Three month commitment
Scale
$600 per month
- For growing startups and small companies
- Review up to two contracts with comments and simple edits up to 15 pages
- Draft one legal analysis or memo up to 3 pages, then hourly rate
- Phone calls or video conferences up to 2 hours
- 15% discount on hourly and flat fees for services not included in this plan
- Three month commitment
Outside General
Counsel
$3,000+ per month
- For funded startups and established companies
- More of everything in Scale plus Level 1 priority
- Draft emails and negotiate with other legal counsel by phone
- Strategic and/or legal risk analysis – one every three months
- Three month commitment
